Virgen de la Luz Church

 

Also called San Antón Church, it is the seat of the city's patron saint. The church was built in the 16th century and completed in the 18th by Martín de Aldehuela. Magnificent interior decoration, in a rococo style. Outside there is a Plateresque portal that corresponds to the old convent that existed in this place. The whole is of great urban beauty. The image of the patron is a black virgin, of great medieval tradition.
